Where can I stay at Argadells ?
There is a range of accommodation options available for visitors to Argadells. Home away from home living in the Overseer's Cottage to 'roughing it' under the stars, there is a style of accommodation to suit all.
Overseer's Cottage
Argadells has a restored overseer's cottage which offers fully self contained accommodation for up to five people. Extra beds can be made available upon request in nearby accommodation trailers to cater for the larger group. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (2 queen & one single bunk bed), kitchen, bathroom, 2 toilets, living room with TV and a dining area, as well as a comfortable outdoor living area with large fire place and gas BBQ. From the cottage the views are widespread with gum tree lined creeks and rocky ranges in the distance.

Cabin
The Cabin offers comfortable open plan accommodation, complete with double bed and fully equipped kitchen / dining area.

Bush Camping
Bush camping is available along the large banks of the shady tree lined creeks. Just imagine being able to wake up in the morning to the sound of native birds singing in the rising sun, in the company of kangaroos innocently feeding nearby.
To keep Argadells beautiful for generations to come the number of bush camping sites has been limited. Camping is not permitted in Hannaman's Gorge because of the close proximity of the Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby habitat.
There is an amenities block located near the homestead where a fee is charged to have a shower, with each main camp site having a well maintained bush long drop toilet.
Fallen timber is a very important part of this unique ecosystem and provides homes to many small creatures and insects. We ask you to assist us to better care for this beautiful but fragile environment of the Flinders Ranges. The collection of firewood is strictly prohibited. Firewood can be purchased from the homestead.
Arrangements to camp need to be made prior to your stay, as this is private property and certain areas are not always available. Sites are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please ensure you book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Those with caravans may like to set up camp near the amenities block which is located just past the homestead at the start of the 4WD tracks.
Access to four wheel driving tracks is an additional $50.00 per vehicle for the duration of your stay.

Booking Terms and Conditions
- No firearms, chainsaws or motorbikes are allowed.
- Respect native animals and their habitats. Animals are to be observed only from the distance the animals choose, (do not go up to or chase them, they have little fear of people and will come close enough and we would like to keep it that way). Animals are not to be bothered in any way or fed with any foods.
- Speed limit of 15km/hour is to be adhered to at all times for safety of guests and wildlife.
- It is strictly prohibited to remove firewood from the property.
- Children are to be supervised at all times and it is the sole responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure they do not disturb environment, wildlife or other guests. Children are not to play in sheds or stock yards. This is important for their safety.
- Please keep to tracks at all times when driving. Do not drive vehicles on steep tracks during or after rain to help prevent erosion. Cars to be parked and driven only in designated areas.
- Please place all litter and recycling in appropriate bins.
- Only paid for guests stay overnight.
- Signage around the property should be adhered to.
- Please report any damage/breakage prior to departure.
- Other guests are to be respected at all times, (noise levels etc)
- Any persons in breach of the above may be asked to vacate the premises immediately with no refunds offered. No correspondence will be entered into.
- Smoking is not allowed indoors, please dispose of butts in container provided.
- Hosts ask that the premises be left in an acceptably clean state resulting from normal use. Extra cleaning will be charged at $30.00 per hour. Our rates simply do not cover scrubbing of fridges, ovens, microwaves, removing countless stains etc. BBQ's and ovens should be left clean, ready for next person to use.
- Any appliances or other non functioning equipment must be reported to your Host immediately and will be serviced as soon as possible. No refund or discounts apply in this instance.
- The operators take no responsibility for visitors personal safety or personal proprty and the operators will accept no claims in any manner with regards to any loss or personal injury whilst on the premises.
